The task
The product automates list submission to EGIS OTB — a duty every carrier in the regulator's registry has. The market is clear and finite but uneven: some carriers are already connected and waste time submitting by hand, others operate but haven't connected at all.
What we did
- 01
Built the base from the regulator's registry
We took carriers from the registry and matched them against EGIS OTB, which gave two very different segments: connected and not connected. Within each, we split sole proprietors from LLCs — a sole proprietor handles the system personally, while an LLC has a dedicated employee for it.
- 02
A separate offer for each segment
Connected carriers got automation instead of manual routine. Unconnected ones got turnkey onboarding to EGIS OTB. Four segments, four sequences.
- 03
Relaunched after the first wave
The first wave went out in late September; two weeks later we launched v2 sequences with rewritten offers. Unconnected sole proprietors performed best — a 12.4% reply rate.
Outcome
In five weeks: 14,453 emails, 363 replies, 166 qualified leads and 15 deals. Almost half of those who replied were interested.
